For Households with more than 8 persons, add $4,480 for each additional person.
*Alaska and Hawaii have different rates for HUD federal poverty guidelines.
These numbers above represent 100% of the Federal Poverty Rate. In order to get reduced or free services from some clinics, they use a sliding fee scale based on your income.When they use a sliding fee scale, the 100% rate can be different than 100%. In those cases, using for example a 200% federal poverty level, you will only need double the 100% number listed above to 200%.

    i have not been able to go back to the pa i was seeing as he made me come in every month and i could not afford it any longer. i am still trying to pay this off. i would really like to get my refills and have a place to go to if needed. i am generally pretty healthy.

    23 year-old, sick for 1.5 weeks (baby at job had bronchitis- had daily exposure). Feel better for three days, come down with severe sore throat and high fever (101.5-103.5) for four days. Fever-reducer at first did not lower fever, but will now. Throat is swollen, white pus, swollen/visible knots on neck.

    I have not used any local free clinics. The only free clinic I have used is the Community Medicare Care Center in Florida, and I qualified by my having no income.
