To understand and serve the health and wellness needs of the medically uninsured who live in Transylvania county.
To be eligible for services, patients must have no health insurance (including Medicare and Medicaid) and have family income within 200% of the Federal Poverty Guidelines.

Clinic hours:

Mondays and Thursdays from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.


METABOLIC CLINIC:
4th Thursday of the month: 9:00AM - 4:00PM


All patients are seen by a professional caregiver, and then referred to an appropriate treatment source if needed.

Clients with emergency conditions are sent to the Transylvania Community Hospital Emergency Room.

Health counseling and preventive education are offered.

In-house lab tests are available on a limited basis, such as urine dipsticks or blood glucose (blood sugar). X-rays and other tests are done by referral to a certified lab.

Treatment decisions are at the discretion of the clinic staff members on duty.
