Grant Park Clinic is NOT A FREE CLINIC..
They are a safety net clinic, providing services for the low income, uninsured, and vulnerable population.
Grant Park Family Health Center provides medical care to adolescents, adults, expectant mothers, and the elderly who might otherwise go untreated.
They do charge for services, payment due at the time of services rendered.
The amount of charges are based on household size and income.
Although their sliding fee schedule is substantially less than other for-profit clinics in the area, they do not provide services for free.
Some of the services they offer are:
To provide health care to the community's needy and underserved.
Since this is a sliding fee scale clinic, we have provided the Federal Poverty Guidelines below. Visit the Grant Park Clinic website listed above to see what the level is needed for free care.
|Persons In Family Household||Poverty Guideline Salary per year|
For Households with more than 8 persons, add $4,480 for each additional person.
*Alaska and Hawaii have different rates for HUD federal poverty guidelines.
These numbers above represent 100% of the Federal Poverty Rate. In order to get reduced or free services from some clinics, they use a sliding fee scale based on your income. When they use a sliding fee scale, the 100% rate can be different than 100%. In those cases, using for example a 200% federal poverty level, you will only need double the 100% number listed above to 200%.

I had an appointment set for 8AM, I arrived at 7:45 AM. No one was there for 15 minutes so I checked the website and it said it does not open until 9AM. So therefore, I came back at 9AM. Walked into my appointment, filled out paperwork, sat for 20 minutes. I went to the back and went through all the stuff and then they took me to the room and the nurse came and said the doctor couldn’t see me. They denied my healthcare when I urgently needed to see a doctor. They said I wasn’t there at 8 AM. When THEY were not there at 8 AM and their website lied about the time they are open. The doctor is a floozy and denied healthcare to someone who needed it severely. Go somewhere else if you need help. Avoid going to this place, the doctor there shouldn’t even be a doctor. They are the worst. I left with more problems than I had prior to going there.
