About Mollie R. Wheat Memorial Clinic

The clinic is housed in the Landsbaum Center in Terre Haute.

The clinic is open every Saturday from 10:00 a.m.-2:00 p.m.

We are a student-run free health and wellness clinic for anyone in the community of Terre Haute and surrounding communities. This project was started with the vision of helping people without medical insurance or who are under-insured. Health-professions students ranging from medical students to undergraduate health administration student will staff the clinic with supervision of volunteering staff.

Federal Poverty Guidelines for 2023

For Households with more than 8 persons, add $4,480 for each additional person.
*Alaska and Hawaii have different rates for HUD federal poverty guidelines.
These numbers above represent 100% of the Federal Poverty Rate. In order to get reduced or free services from some clinics, they use a sliding fee scale based on your income.When they use a sliding fee scale, the 100% rate can be different than 100%. In those cases, using for example a 200% federal poverty level, you will only need double the 100% number listed above to 200%.

I am a diabetic my sugar is running 220 to 500 . i dont have a doc anymore and dont havw insurance its been 2 yrs since a1c i also have ipt .last platelet count was 53000. I was on . metaformin 500 time release but ran out of perscription i been taking bf metformin 1000 and its still is in 200 to 300.

I can tell you that there has got to have more than one thing going on. I am a psych major and he has his BS in psych we just really need to talk to someone for either guidance on what to do where to go to get the help he needs if you are unable.

A couple of months ago my family lost health coverage due to my husband getting a $1 raise at work. He is on Bi-polar medication that he needs in order to function in daily life. His current doctor will no longer fill them till he has a check up but we are unable to pay the high cost of the visit and get his much needed meds.
