Saint Teresa of Calcutta Dental Care provides general dental care and restorative services to economically challenged patients without dental insurance or access to dental care. Services are provided by volunteer dentists and hygienists.
Services are provided in a multilingual environment (Spanish and English) without consideration of ethnicity, religious affiliation or nationality.
As resources permit, services provided include:
Examination and diagnosis
Emergency relief of pain (extractions)
Dental hygiene services
Removable full and partial dentures
As of June 1, 2019, they will charge a nominal fee for services.
$10 per visit.
$100 per arch per denture.
$50 per arch per flexible partial denture.
For people needing immediate pain relief or extractions, no appointment is required. Please arrive between 3pm and 3:30pm on the 1st, 2nd and 3rd Tuesdays of each month for our extraction clinic. A limited number of patients will be seen, as determined by the dentist in charge, starting at about 5pm.
All other comprehensive dental care needs are handled by appointment only.
Since this is a sliding fee scale clinic, we have provided the Federal Poverty Guidelines below. Visit the Mother Teresa Dental Care Center website listed above to see what the level is needed for free care.
|Persons In Family Household||Poverty Guideline Salary per year|
For Households with more than 8 persons, add $4,480 for each additional person.
*Alaska and Hawaii have different rates for HUD federal poverty guidelines.
These numbers above represent 100% of the Federal Poverty Rate. In order to get reduced or free services from some clinics, they use a sliding fee scale based on your income. When they use a sliding fee scale, the 100% rate can be different than 100%. In those cases, using for example a 200% federal poverty level, you will only need double the 100% number listed above to 200%.
