The goal of our health center is to provide healthcare that focuses on prevention and early identification of common medical problems such as diabetes, high blood pressure, obesity and heart disease.
Mental Health Counseling Services is a free service for our clinic patients. Patients who would benefit from this service will be referred by our primary care providers.
Your oral health is our primary focus because it is a key to complete overall health. It is our mission to create a healthy community starting with your family. We take pride in providing exceptional quality service that will leave a long lasting impression.
We screen for common conditions such as high cholesterol, diabetes, electrolyte imbalances, anemia and hormone imbalances. We also offer pregnancy testing and genetic screenings for our prenatal patients.
At SBCHC we aim to work with our families to keep children healthy. We provide well check-ups as well as diagnosis and treatment of common illnesses in children. We also provide referral services for children who may need specialty services.
Prenatal & Postpartum Care
All of our patients receive excellent prenatal care which includes scheduled examinations, laboratory services, prenatal and child birth classes, referrals for ultrasound, referrals for genetic counseling and arrangements with LBJ Hospital for delivery.
Our health center services are focused on providing quality well rounded care for our female population.
An Eligibility Specialist is available to assist with enrollment in Medicaid, and CHIP, and Gold Card Applications for specialty services. Patients can apply for Medicaid and other public insurance programs onsite at both of our locations.
Financial Assistance Program
The Financial Assistance Program is a special program to assist those who are uninsured or have difficulty paying for medical care. If you are not eligible for insurance coverage and have limited income, you can apply for a sliding fee discount.
Patients who are not insured or who may qualify for a sliding fee discount, Medicaid or other assistance programs should bring proper identification, proof of income and other supporting documents.
