The cost of treatment and medicine can be overwhelming if you need care and do not have health insurance. The clinic offers several programs for moderate and low-income families without health insurance or high deductibles. Proof of income, which is kept confidential, is required to participate.
The Health Access Program is a moderate-income program that offers reduced cost medical care based on a sliding fee scale. The lower your income, the less you will pay. If you have Medicare or health insurance with high deductibles or co-pays, and meet the income requirements, you are also eligible. There is a minimum charge for each visit. The cost of your visit, some laboratory tests, and some medications are covered under the program. Free and reduced cost medication is available to Health Access patients.
The clinic maintains a wide variety of generic medication available at reduced costs. These medicines are dispensed for the clinic at the Belington Prescription Center. You may ask any staff member about this program or other health care services. Please call 823-2800 for more information.
Since this is a sliding fee scale clinic, we have provided the Federal Poverty Guidelines below. Visit the Belington Medical Clinic website listed above to see what the level is needed for free care.
