Physicians with various specialties provide treatment in their offices to patients who need a service we do not offer. We work with hospitals and laboratories to make other medical services available at little or no cost.

Patients must be uninsured.
Patients must not have Medicare or Medicaid.
Individual and family income must fall below 150% of federal poverty guidelines.

The clinic's eligibility requirements are defined by the Volunteer Health Care Provider Program, pursuant to the provisions of Florida Statute 766.115.

Center for Family Health is supported by grants and tax deductible donations. Please consider contributing by going to our donations page.

Most of our health care professionals speak English and Spanish. If a language barrier exists, CFH's staff and volunteers can translate. Confidentiality in either language is carefully maintained.

Since this is a sliding fee scale clinic, we have provided the Federal Poverty Guidelines below. Visit the Center for Family Health website listed above to see what the level is needed for free care.

Federal Poverty Guidelines for 2023

Persons In Family HouseholdPoverty Guideline Salary per year
1$14,580
2$19,720
3$24,860
4$30,000
5$35,140
6$40,280
7$45,420
8$50,560

For Households with more than 8 persons, add $4,480 for each additional person.
*Alaska and Hawaii have different rates for HUD federal poverty guidelines.
These numbers above represent 100% of the Federal Poverty Rate. In order to get reduced or free services from some clinics, they use a sliding fee scale based on your income. When they use a sliding fee scale, the 100% rate can be different than 100%. In those cases, using for example a 200% federal poverty level, you will only need double the 100% number listed above to 200%.

I have been without meds for six months or better. I had a thyroid storm and stroke in 2011 which left me in a coma for six weeks. I was on disability until 2016 and then it was cut off due to me being unable to consistently make doctors appointments. I have heart disease, kidney disorder, borderline diabetes. I do not have insurance but I really need my meds. I have lost a lot of weight
