The Community Care Clinic was started in 1998 to provide quality health care to the working poor in Stanly County. To qualify for services, clients must be a resident of Stanly County, uninsured, have a household income of 150% of the Federal Poverty Guidelines or less, working, seeking employment or actively in the disability process and be 18 to 64 years of age. Patients receive primary health care and medications at no charge. The clinic is funded by grants and donations. Stanly Regional Medical Center donates the greatest amount of in-kind services including employee salaries, building space and expenses, diagnostics and medical care for patients as needed. The Stanly Regional Medical Center Foundation, Stanly Regional Medical Center Auxiliary and Cheer Shop, and United Way of Stanly County have all donated monies to assist with medications and supplies for the clinic. Medical Pharmacy provides clinical support and medications at cost to the Community Care Clinic.

Monday through Thursday 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Patients are seen by appointment on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday
Eligibility appointments are scheduled on Mondays
