COVID-19 (Coronavirus) Information for Patients
Contact your healthcare provider by phone before coming to a clinic or hospital if you meet the following criteria:
Symptoms such as fever, cough or shortness of breath, fatigue, headache, muscle or body aches, loss of taste or smell, sore throat, congestion or runny nose.
Contact with someone with confirmed COVID-19 within 14 days of onset of systems
This clinic operates under a SLIDING SCALE model. This means that it MAY NOT be free depending on your income. You will be required to prove financial need in order to receive free services or services at a reduced cost. Shenandoah County Health Department is a Community Health Center. Clinical Services such as Childhood, Adolescent, and Adult Immunizations, Tuberculosis Screening, Pregnancy Testing, HIV Testing, Blood Pressure Evaluation, and Sexually Transmitted Infection testing are offered Monday through Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. and 1:00 p.m. to 3:30 p.m. by appointment. Child Health Services
Well Child physicals, School Physicals including Pre-school physicals and Sports Physicals are available by appointment.
Services include information on communicable diseases, investigations of suspected disease outbreaks, and preventive treatment for certain diseases. Outbreak investigations can be for suspected food or waterborne diseases, bioterrorism events, and contagious diseases spread to humans by either animals or other persons.
