Patient Services Offered

The Temple Community Clinic offers services for general family practice and internal medicine, which includes treatment of diabetes, hypertension (high blood pressure), and preventative services such as certain vaccinations. The Clinic is staffed by highly qualified volunteer physicians, nurses, and dentists from Scott & White Hospital and Clinics as well as various private practices from the community.

Other services offered, but not limited to include:
Gynecology
Chiropractic Care
Dentistry
Podiatry
Gastroenterology
Ophthalmology

They also have the ability to obtain lab work, x-rays, and other tests through a collaboration with Scott & White Hospital here in Temple.

What To Bring With You
For eligibility screening purposes, please bring all of the following:
Texas Driver's License or Texas Identification Card
Proof of Residency (example, electric or water bill)
Income information for entire household (example, check stubs), and
Social Security Card

For Households with more than 8 persons, add $4,480 for each additional person.
*Alaska and Hawaii have different rates for HUD federal poverty guidelines.
These numbers above represent 100% of the Federal Poverty Rate. In order to get reduced or free services from some clinics, they use a sliding fee scale based on your income.When they use a sliding fee scale, the 100% rate can be different than 100%. In those cases, using for example a 200% federal poverty level, you will only need double the 100% number listed above to 200%.
