I have been to this clinic.I needed medical care. I paid based on my income (sliding-scale). The staff was friendly. I waited several hours If you need to see a doctor relatively quickly, I would not recommend going here. They make you go through this absurd patient processing interview, before you can even get an appointment. I've been to all types of free clinics and I've never had to deal with what I dealt with here. First, they require your tax papers from last year, and 2 MONTHS worth of pay stubs. All of the free clinics I've been to have only required the 2 most recent pay stubs, not 8. Anyway, so you have to go their office for an interview to see if you qualify, which took me 2 hours. Then, after the interview was over, I had to make an appointment for a different day. They didn't have anything available for the remainder of the week, so I had to wait until the end of the following week. Going back and forth in Hackensack is exhausting. Honestly, just go to Valley Health Medical Group. There are multiple. Not only are they super fast in processing all of your information, but the staff and doctors are so lovely. I called them, scheduled an appointment, and on the same day they processed all of my paperwork and had me see the doctor. So much easier.
