We Care is a nonprofit, community based agency organized in 1989 by local clergy to help support and fill the needs of the homeless and low income families and individuals appearing at Church doors asking for assistance.

In the beginning the provided just food and clothing.

We Care Of Los Alamitos have progressed to the point where they are able to offer more long term assistance with food and transportation vouchers and some housing and utility assistance.

We Care Of Los Alamitos also offer assistance with the filling of prescription medication on a one time basis while their clients apply for medical aid.

We Care Of Los Alamitos offer not just a hand out but a hand up.

We Care Of Los Alamitos assist the client regardless of race, creed or gender.

We Care Of Los Alamitos assist all ages.

We Care Of Los Alamitos believe in encouraging clients to persist in following through with the referrals they give for longer term and more complete, permanent assistance.

We Care Of Los Alamitos are an ecumenical organization with community support from local service clubs, churches and schools.
