NYS Department of Health Cancer Screening Program.

Free breast, cervical and colorectal cancer screening for the un-insured and the under-insurered. Breast exams, mammograms and pap tests beginning at age 40 (with some exceptions) and colorectal testing (both colonoscopy at fecal screening kits) beginning at age 50 (with some exceptions).

Medicaid Cancer Treatment Program (MCTP) - Medicaid coverage for cancer treatment for those individuals that have been diagnosed with breast, cervical ,colorectal or prostate cancer and are uninsured. Enrollment required directly through the Cancer Services Program and a Designated Qualified Entity (DQE). Financial assistance with screenings as well as finding a physician. Cancer Services works closely with local NY State Navigators for those interested in learning more and obtaining insurance through the NY Sate of Health Insurance marketplace.
