*Alaska and Hawaii have different rates for HUD federal poverty guidelines.
These numbers above represent 100% of the Federal Poverty Rate. In order to get reduced or free services from some clinics, they use a sliding fee scale based on your income. When they use a sliding fee scale, the 100% rate can be different than 100%. I moved here from Indiana about 6 months ago, I've been uninsured since last January, I believe. Whe I lived there, I found a lump in my right breast. Breast cancer runs in both sides of my family, so I was screened for cancer. They said it wasnt cancerous but since then, I've had a little pain every now and then and I also just found 2 bruises about 2 inches away from my lump.Anonymous on Monday, January 14, 2019 ( 0 votes )
