The Dungeness Valley Health & Wellness Clinic is a non-profit 501(c)(3) organization. Locally referred to as The Sequim Free Clinic, our volunteer physicians, nursing and support staff provide Basic Urgent Care services to uninsured and under-insured men and women in our community. Additionally, patients who have chronic health care issues can be seen at our Chronic Healthcare Clinics offered several times a month, by appointment.
Basic Urgent Care Clinic, offers professional healthcare services to uninsured adults in a caring setting. Patients may drop in at the end of the work day to see a Physician, Physician’s Assistant, or Nurse Practitioner on a first-come, first-served basis. The volunteer healthcare providers team will assess, order lab work and x-rays, diagnose and treat acute and chronic illness, prescribe medication, and make referrals to specialists — such as family planning, behavioral health, dental health, and other medical specialists. For patients who meet income eligibility requirements, a Prescription Assistance Program (PAP) is available to help with the costs of medicine.
Chronic Healthcare Clinic provides continuity of care for patients with diseases and conditions that require ongoing treatment, such as diabetes, high blood pressure, high cholesterol, and respiratory diseases.

*Alaska and Hawaii have different rates for HUD federal poverty guidelines.
These numbers above represent 100% of the Federal Poverty Rate. In order to get reduced or free services from some clinics, they use a sliding fee scale based on your income.
When they use a sliding fee scale, the 100% rate can be different than 100%. In those cases, using for example a 200% federal poverty level, you will only need double the 100% number listed above to 200%.
