About Homeless Empowerment Program

Upon intake: Clients are referred to HEP Dental & Wellness Clinic for a checkup and/or to receive treatment.

An on-site medical and mental health assessment is performed through partnerships with Morton Plant Mease Outreach and Baycare Health Systems through the HEP Dental & Wellness Clinic.


Mission Statement: HEP is a registered 501(c)(3) charitable organization. Since 1986, our Mission has been to provide homeless and low-income families and individuals, including Veterans, with housing, food, clothing, and support services necessary to obtain self-sufficiency and improved quality of life.

recently employed with two employers. One full time and one part time. Both require walking. Full time will offer health insurance that may begin on 4/1/2019. Current situation is I am homeless and sleeping in my car. I have sought out housing but no money for rental fees or deposit to hold apartment which comes open on 4/1/19..
