Clinica de Salud Del Valle de Salinas (CSVS) is one of the few providers in Monterey County for
individuals who are medically indigent or homeless. Under the umbrella of CSVS, individuals receive
comprehensive care, including basic health screenings, immunizations, basic oral screenings, orthopedics,
and podiatry.
Services
The program is implemented at all Clinica de Salud locations. In addition, care is delivered via a mobile
clinic which regularly visits homeless shelters and encampments. The mobile clinic serves as a key access
point for those seeking primary care, oral health, and mental health and substance abuse treatments. Specialty
services are referred to Natividad Medical Center's main campus.
Basic Needs, Blood Pressure Monitoring, Case Management/Social Services, Contraceptives (issued
w/counseling), Dental Care, Diabetes Testing/Care, Domestic Violence Shelter/Services, Electronic Medical
Records, Family Planning, Hepatitis C screening/treatment, HIV/AIDS screening/education, Outreach,
